In General
Whether you are a non-American company trying to
do business in the States or an overseas firm
seeking an American business partner to facilitate
the growth of your business in your home country,
you will need U.S.-based advocates well versed not
only in contract negotiation and counseling clients in
legal matters, but also in the art of deal making:
professionals with a background in market research,
market analysis and business development who can
uncover, identify and lock-in the particular U.S.
markets and/or partners that best fit your company's
strategic goals.
Remember, most problematic
international business ventures go
bad before they even get started.
Companies that are new to a
particular foreign market, not having a
detailed knowledge of local market
conditions, business law and
corporate culture, often settle for
less-than ideal deals with less-than
ideal local partners.
The Galer Firm can help you avoid
that fate by handling the research,
analysis and legal maneuvering
required to get your deal right from
the very beginning.

market project started today!

In the Media
With a seemingly unstoppable rate of modernization
and economic growth, China has swiftly become
destination number one for the world's
international-minded businesses.  China's entry into
the WTO has and will continue to bring a host of
further free-market reforms and opportunities for
foreign businesses.  Although Eastern-rim
metropolises such as Beijing, Shanghai and
Guangzhou will continue to lead this modernization
movement with their focus on procuring cutting
edge technologies related to manufacturing and
urban development, other, previously
under-examined areas such as agriculture, the
environment and cultural exchange are growing in
importance, as well.
(Below) Mr. Galer is interviewed on Chinese
television regarding his opinion of how
Americans view the Chinese market.
Beijing, in particular, is now locked-in to a
self-enforced pledge of even more rapid
development during the next four years.  Prior to
hosting the Olympic games in 2008, Beijing will
have, if things go as planned, transformed itself not
only by heightening the modernization of its
transportation and other infrastructure, but also by
cleaning up its environment and adding a
world-class menu of fruits, vegetables and other
foods to its citizens' (and guests') dinner plates.
For Beijing specifically, and China generally, the
stakes are high in terms of 'international prestige
and recognition.'  However, the Chinese cannot,
and do not intend to, go it alone.  During the next
four years, billions of dollars will be spent getting
ready for 2008, and a substantial portion of that
money will go to overseas firms, either directly or
indirectly.  Assuming your business has a
competitive product or service that can help Beijing
in its great endeavor, you, too, can share in the
wealth.
The Galer Firm  stands ready to help you
pursue all of the opportunities China has in store
for your business.  Call us today.
